They can also be power by a 9 volt PP3 battery This is soft white LED strip that gives the effect of the early fluorescent tubes. Not the later stark white light of the modern tubes. The LED’s are protected by a silicon coating which also diffuses the light to make it smooth with no hot spots. Each light has tags at the other end to allow bolt on’s of another unit to make continual line of lighting (just remove a section of silicon and solder the next one on) It has a 3M adhesive backing that just needs to peeled back and stuck into position making fitting very quick and simple.
